Louisiana agencies live inside two sets of rules: Louisiana Department of Health's, and LaSRS's. The software was built to both — the state's EVV requirements in the visit record, LaSRS's interface in the connector — so the agency does the work once and the aggregator gets it in its own format. How EVV works in Louisiana

Encrypted files over SFTP

LaSRS takes a service file and a worker file as PGP-encrypted CSVs over SFTP, on the state's naming and nightly cadence, with a test prefix until production. The software builds, encrypts, uploads and reads the responses back.

Approval forms first

The provider submits LDH's third-party approval forms, provider and vendor sign an attestation, and SRI's integration requirements are completed on a sample.

Claims checked against EVV

Since December 1, 2025 fee-for-service claims are validated against the EVV record, so the file has to be right and on time.

Getting started

Your first month in Louisiana

Sponsor and credentialsYour agency is the sponsoring provider: one attestation to the state and one to the aggregator, and the aggregator issues test credentials. We prepare both with you.

Configure from the presetFinance → EVV aggregators: the state's preset fills qualifiers, reason codes and config from the published addendum; the issued ids and credentials go on top. The account says Ready when nothing is missing.

CertifyWe run the aggregator's test cases against their test environment with your test patients, fix anything they flag, and ask for their review. Then production credentials.

Go liveFlip the account to production and turn the worker on. From then on every closed Medicaid visit is queued at clock-out and reaches the aggregator within minutes, with its verdict read back.

Is LaSRS a vendor or the state?

The state's system, operated by Statistical Resources Inc. Third-party systems do not replace it; they feed it through an approved data bridge, which is what this software implements.

What does approval involve?

LDH's approval forms, the attestation, SFTP and PGP setup with SRI under a sponsoring provider, then a sample-file review. We do this with your agency as sponsor, at no cost to you.

Can we start before approval is done?

Yes. Everything but the send works from day one; visits queue and go the day the bridge is live.
