Privacy policy

Effective 2026-09-21. This policy covers firstsupport-emr.com and the e-mail we send about our software. Patient and caregiver data inside the software is governed by the agreement we sign with each agency, described in the last section.

What this website collects

• The demo form. Your name, agency, e-mail address, phone number if you give it, anything you write in the message, and which page you were on. We use it to reply to you and to set up the demo you asked for. It is sent to us by e-mail through Resend, our transactional e-mail provider, and kept in our mailbox and outreach records.
• Page counts, without cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages and countries visitors come from. It sets no cookie, does not fingerprint your device and does not follow you to other sites; we see aggregate counts, not people. It is the only third-party script on the site. Fonts, images and video are served from our own domain, and there are no advertising trackers. If you use the site's light/dark preference or a filter on the state map, that is stored in your own browser only.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records requests — IP address, page, time, browser — to serve the site and keep it up. We do not use these to identify you.

E-mail we send about our software

• We write to home care agencies whose business contact details are in public licensing and provider registries. We do not buy lists and we do not harvest addresses from websites.
• Every such e-mail is identified as an advertisement, carries our postal address, and has a working unsubscribe. Reply STOP or use the link and we stop within one business day; the opt-out is kept so we do not write again.
• We do not sell, rent or share contact details with anyone for their marketing.

Keeping and deleting

Demo-form details are kept while we are talking to you and for up to two years afterwards, then deleted; unsubscribe records are kept indefinitely because that is what makes them work. Ask at [email protected] to see or delete what we hold about you and we will do so within thirty days.

Inside the software

When an agency uses First Support Homecare, the patient, caregiver and visit data it enters is the agency's data. We process it as a business associate under HIPAA and the Business Associate Agreement signed with that agency; we use it only to provide the service, we do not sell it, and we return or destroy it when the agreement ends. Patients and caregivers with questions about their information should contact their agency, which is the covered entity. Our technical safeguards are described on the security page.

Children

This website is for home care agencies and is not directed at children; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 through it.
